About Dana

I am a slowpoke and an artist based in Portland, Maine. Inspired by folk art + crafts, storytellers, and songwriters, I’m focused on creating functional clay objects that convey stories and provide comfort. As to avoid the monotony of the human existence, I am also a fiber artist, illustrator, printmaker, garden designer, professional gardener, and herbalist. I hold a BA in studio art and art history from the University of Vermont with a focus in printmaking and ceramics, as well as 2 years of study at the Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism. You can usually find me outside, indulging at a local bakery, or in my homes entry way fumbling to get out of the house.
